WHAT IS IT
What is Pregnancy Detox?
No mother wants to harm her unborn baby. Unfortunately, addiction doesn’t discriminate, and women who are addicted to drugs or alcohol do become pregnant and then find it impossible to stop using even though they are expecting. At SoCal Detox, we believe that addiction isn’t a character flaw or moral failing. Rather, it’s a treatable medical condition. The sooner an expectant mother gets sober, the better it will be for her and her baby. Detox is the first step toward that, and it is possible even if you’re pregnant.
WHO IS FOR
Is It Safe to Receive Detox During Pregnancy?
Detoxing from drugs and alcohol during pregnancy is more complicated than a regular detox, but it is possible to do it safely so the baby isn’t further harmed. However, you shouldn’t attempt to detox on your own if you are pregnant. It should be done in a closely monitored detox program under the supervision of medical professionals. At SoCal Detox, our pregnancy detox program is a safe way to get clean for both you and your baby so you can have a better, more fulfilling life together.
